Our ultimate ambition is to make sure that every girl child finds their voice , defines their goals , dreams , and moves forward in the world with pride and self -confidence. We are standing in the gap between teens, parents and society while changing lives one girl child at a time.
Lindiwe Mashigo is a lover of life, a wife, and a mother. She founded “Talitha Cumi”, A girls’ organization that focuses on grooming and supporting a girl child. Lindiwe is a GBV survivor/ activist, counsellor and she is passionate about girls and women.
This is evident in the work that she does and the number of lives that she impacts daily. “I was lucky to survive GBV but not all women and children are as lucky. I wish I had someone to confide in, freely whenever I needed someone to talk to, that’s why I want to be that woman/ mother/ sister THAT I wish I had growing up. I am the mentor I WISH I HAD.”
We are what we do, and we take pride in our work, tackling global topics and interests that guide our girls to explore the endless possibilities available to them.
A positive self-esteem and strong character are foundations of guidance towards a strong future. We never forget how much we can learn from others.
We ask for advice, we seize opportunities, we persevere, and above all, we are flexible, which makes it easy to grasp into our vision with both hands. Failure is not an option.
